About Our Studio
As an award winning, full service architectural firm, we are known for providing innovative and technically correct design solutions that consistently meet or exceed our clients expectations.
Our design philosophy is rooted in appropriateness. If the solution isn’t appropriate for the client’s needs, budget, image and future, then can it ever be said the solution was successful?
The environment should be a reflection of the organization’s culture, a unique statement of who it is and what it represents. Our solutions emerge from an in-depth programming process by which we come to know our client’s unique needs and objectives.
The overriding objective in all projects is to create environments that enrich the lives of individuals and improve the bottom-line of organizations.
Creating Environments That Make A Difference
Principal - Ed Erbach AIA
Ed Erbach AIA, Principal and founder of Erbach Architects, has over 40 years of experience in the field of architecture and interior design. A registered architect since 1979, he was a founding Principal and Architect-in-charge of The Arris Group, an interior architectural firm founded in 1989. With a staff at times of over 20 people, Ed was responsible for the management and design of over 5 million square feet of corporate and healthcare interiors. In 2000, he merged the Arris Group with Weber Murphy Fox and became principal in charge of the Corporate Studio for the next three years.
Having had the experience of owning and being a partner in the “big firm”, and wanting to return to a more hands-on experience, Erbach Architects was founded in 2004. Erbach Architects brings a business model best described as “Service with Experience.” The intention is to provide Select Clients with personalized, hands-on service that provides principal level experience during all phases of the project. Efficiency, flexibility, affordability and total commitment are key components.
In 2015, Ed was joined by John Waddell to form an umbrella company, Erbach Waddell Architects, which operated until 2022 when John retired. Now, continuing again, as Erbach Architects, Ed brings the same passion and experience to his work and service for his clients.
